The small size of most apps, combined with the large storage capacity available on smartphones means you can have dozens or even hundreds of apps stored on your smartphone - an app for whatever you are in the mood for or whatever you need to get done

The Xperia X10 is a good smartphone...It got a great 8mp camera, with HD video recording( after the software update) and its even upgradeable to the latest Android 2.3..but it does have some major flaws..like no video call camera or fm radio, and the GPS navigation isn't free...and a few other issues...the performance is good, but its not the best...I would avoid the Optimus...its ok, but the software is an issue, (its not upgradable to 2.3)
